Tony Plush Shirts.

Ahh, Nyjer Morgan, aka Tony Plush. He came into our lives in a late 2009 trade with the Pirates, and was immediately embraced for his hustle, and character. He also made some great catches, which led me to make my first Tony Plush shirt. It's (obviously) based on the MLB logo, but "Tony Plush Baseball" replaces "Major League Baseball." Here was the result:

Come 2010, Nyjer really started to wear out his welcome. His base running errors started happening all the time, and he threw a couple tantrums on the field. One of those tantrums led to him hurling his glove to the ground in disgust, allowing the hitter to hit an inside the park home run. I decided to make a shirt about that, and based it on this picture. Here was the result:

Eventually, after a couple brawls and not improving his base running, the Nats traded him to Milwaukee. They're in a love affair with him right now, but I'm guessing he wears out his welcome soon.

Here's the thumbnails of the shirts. Click them to go right to the product in the store.
